Fair Michigan Majority
DBGPride Inc. supports this statewide coalition to defend Michigan against any attempt to enshrine discrimination in our state constitution.

Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation
The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is dedicated to promoting and ensuring fair, accurate and inclusive representation of people and events in the media as a means of eliminating homophobia and discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation.

International Federation of Black Prides
IFBPrides is a coalition of Black PRide organizers formed to promote a multinational network of LGBT/SGL (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender/Same-Gender-Loving) Prides and community-based organizations.

Michigan Equality
A statewide, political advocacy organization dedicated to building a broad base of support to end discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity or non-conformance to gender stereotypes.

N.A.A.C.P. Detroit Branch
The largest branch of the United States oldest civil rights organizations. Produces the largest sit down dinner in the world to raise funds to continue the struggle for social justice and social change.

National Black Justice Coalition [NBJC]
The National Black Justice Coalition is a civil rights organization of Black lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and our allies dedicated to fostering equality by fighting racism and homophobia.

The Peninsula Group
The Peninsula Group (TPG) was formed by a concerned group of LGBT community leaders following the passage of Proposal 2 (Michigan’s Constitutional ban on same-sex marriage) in November, 2004.  It is believed that Michigan needs an LGBT think-tank, using proven strategic planning techniques, so that the collective LGBT community can move forward in a proactive manner to secure equal rights for all.

AIDS Partnership Michigan (APM)
AIDS Partnership Michigan is the state's central resource for information and referral about HIV/AIDS and the largest service provider in Michigan. Community Health Outreach Workers (CHOW)
Community Health Outreach Workers, Inc (CHOW) has been in existence since 1990, founded as a statewide coalition of outreach workers. CHOW first began as an ad-hoc committee of various organizations within Michigan and became a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization in 1991. In response to the rising numbers of HIV infections in the African American community, CHOW has been committed to developing strategies to fight this disease as well as other emerging health issues.

Horizons Project

MPowerment
Sponsors social events, public forums, social groups, and up-to-date approaches to HIV/AIDS and other STD prevention. Motor City Pridefest
Detroit's sister pride celebration is produced by the Triangle Foundation. Events and parades are planned annually in the month of June all over the country as well as internationally. Gay and Lesbian Pride Month celebrate diversity and civil liberties and rights for all. This event takes place in Ferndale, Michigan just outside of Detroit.

Michigan Pride
Michigan Pride is a 501(c)3 or non-proft organization. Like many non-profit groups we operate on the kindness and dedication of volunteers.
Michigan Pride is governed by a five member elected Executive Board and an event Steering Committee, both the Board and the Committee are comprised of volunteers.

Windsor Pride
Windsor Pride has grown to be a ten day long event which kicks off with an official Rainbow Pride Flag Raising ceremony at City Hall Square.  The days that follow are each dedicated to various aspects of Gay life in Windsor, Ontario across the Detroit River in Canada.
